Brass Locators Type A - Screw Fixing

These fixings are most suitable when the letter or panel is over 12mm thick, e.g. thick foamex or wooden products, as the male threaded part can be screwed directly into the back to give a strong connection.

 

• Male part has 3/16” stud which provides a screwed fixing into the back of the letter or panel

• Female nut simply attaches to the wall via normal screw fixing

Tip: If you wish to use them on thinner materials (like 5mm acrylic letters), the best way to get a good fixing is to make 15mm - 20mm clear acrylic blocks which you bond onto the back of the letters with a suitable adhesive, like Hypersol 12. You can then screw the male threaded parts directly into the centres of these blocks. This method will give larger letters an increased standoff, which is sometimes more desirable.
